Australia's Renewable Energy Target, arguably the most important policy (still standing) to reduce Australia's carbon emissions. The policy has had a rocky year, even more so than previous years when I also wrote
blog posts, and even

I was delighted to find the Facebook group
'Save the RET' promoted my blog post, with a number of supporters of the RET viewing my page and sharing the post on Facebook. It's always great to know your work is well-received, and raises the idea of
Facebook as another avenue to spread research results and information.
